The new reed induction engine displaces 68.18cc, and has been tuned specifically for the rigors of Trials. The Rookie is equiped with a 6 speed gearbox and hydraulic clutch, just like its bigger siblings.
Suspension
The 38mm front fork is mated to a full size 21 inch front wheel and a 4 piston caliper front brake. No compromises have been made on the Rookie. It is equiped with the finest components, and is ready for competition.

The TXT80 Rookie is an all new machine designed with the 10-14 year old in mind. No compromises have been made in the design. Many components are taken directly from the larger machines, or have been scaled down specifically for this machine. Unlike the TXT50 Boy, the Rookie features a full 6 speed transmission and hydraulic clutch, allowing riders to take full advantage of modern riding techniques. The Rookie has full size wheels and tires, but is exceptionally light, at only 117lb's. For the serious young Trials Rider, this is the most serious machine available.
