Curt Comer Press Release
Perry Mountain 24 Hour Challenge Race
Press Release, June 9, 2008
Team GasGasUSA/GoFasters.com rider Curt Comer won the +50 Ironman Class and finished third overall in the combined Ironman class at the 7th Annual Perry Mountain 24 Hour Challenge race in Maplesville, AL June 7/8. With the temperature topping 100 degrees, the 24 Hour Challenge was just as the name depicts – a challenge!
Comer’s summer race season kicked off in mid-April with round four of the AMA FMF National Enduro Series wherein he won the +50 A Class at the Lonestar National Enduro in Fluvanna, Texas. This win increased Comer’s standings to second thus far in the season.
Memorial Day weekend found Comer in Colorado for the first three rounds of the AMA /NATC National Trials Series. Not only did he win the +50 Support Class all three rounds, but also won the Overall Support class in the first round.
The season continues to heat up next weekend at the Loose Moose National Enduro in Marquette, Michigan.
Curt uses a GasGas EC300 for off-road and a GasGas TXT280 for trials. Both machines are equipped with Vee Rubber tires. “My GasGas motorcycles have been just great this year with the performance, handling, and reliability needed to achieve the goals we have set”.
