CODY WEBB WINS NATC/AMA NATIONAL TRIALS ROUND 3 IN RHODE ISLAND Cody turned in a brilliant riding performance today with only 12 points lost compared to the present US champ, Pat Smage, who had 25 points. Riding his GAS GAS Pro 300 Race, Cody commanded loop scores of 7, 3 & 2 points in a mixture of slimy, wet, rocky sections and big uphills. A two point loop in sections like this was an incredible feat of concentration and skill. No doubt his father Kip, who is also his minder, added help and confidence to Cody's win today. Finishing in 3rd and 4th places were two more GAS GAS riders, Keith Wineland with 71 points and Ron Commo with 121 points.
