GASGAS LOOKS BACK ON ANOTHER AWESOME EUROPEAN JUNIOR E-MOTOCROSS SERIES

Well, that’s a wrap on the 2022 European Junior e-Motocross Series and what a season it’s been! Giving young MC-E 5 racers the chance to battle it out on some of Europe’s best tracks, we’ve seen them all make new friends, soak up the MXGP atmosphere, and generally have a great time. And it all came to a positive end at the double-header event in the Czech Republic where British racer John Slade stuck his GASGAS on the box with second overall on day one, and fifth overall on day two.

  • 2022 European Junior e-Motocross Series signs off on a high
  • GASGAS mounted John Slade puts it on the box at penultimate round
  • Good times and fun in the sun for all GASGAS MC-E 5 racers

We’ve been looking back over the 2022 European Junior e-Motocross Series, and it really has been one to remember. At all five rounds we’ve seen so many different kids on GASGAS MC-E 5 dirt bikes, from all over Europe and all developing their skills, putting on a show in front of massive crowds. And going by the smiles on their faces during each race weekend, we know they had a ton of fun!

Partnering with Infront Moto Racing to create this awesome series meant that all rounds would run alongside the FIM Motocross World Championship. This made sure that every racer on a GASGAS MC-E 5 would not only be competing on some of the best tracks in Europe, but they’d also get to meet Red Bull GASGAS Factory Racing’s elite riders, walk the track with them, and generally have a good time hanging out in the pro pits. We also handed out some cool GASGAS merch so they’d look just like their racing heroes. For kids aged 6-8 year’s old who love motocross, it doesn’t get much better than contesting the European Junior e-Motocross Series!

At each and every round we saw a load of young shredders in the mix and in the end, the top series finisher on an MC-E 5 was Riccardo Galia from Italy who tied on points for sixth but was classified as seventh. And saving the best till last, the top overall result for an MC-E 5 racer came at the penultimate round when Great Britain’s John Slade put it on the box with second overall. Nice work, guys!

Federico Valentini – Vice President Global Motorcycle Marketing: “That’s another season of the European Junior e-Motocross Series complete and, just like last year, it’s been incredible. The feedback we have received from all riders and their families, the action on track, and the popularity that the series has gained, makes the hard work in creating this series worthwhile. Seeing so many riders on GASGAS MC-E 5 bikes shows how competitive it is, which was highlighted by John Slade placing second overall at the final round. A fantastic achievement. And over the full season, Riccardo Galia finished seventh overall thanks to his commitment, ability, and the performance of his MC-E 5. There are too many other GASGAS riders to mention but I would like to thank them all on behalf of GASGAS, as well as their parents who made such a great effort to be a part of the 2022 European Junior e-Motocross Series.”
