Serious, street riding, that's what the GASGAS SM 700 is built for. And the exact reason why the SM 700 has exceptional handling, which allows riders of all ability levels to feel secure and super-confident, no matter where they're riding. From the steel trellis frames that ensure the perfect mix of flex and rigidity, to our super-strong, great looking die-cast swingarms, and not forgetting the 3.6-gallon (13.5-liter) fuel tank that keeps weight low, our street bikes deliver great handling. Finished with vibrant red bodywork, as well as being ergonomically top-notch, all panels wrap neatly around the frame and motor to improve the connection between rider and bike.

CHASIS

Flex. Rigidity. Fun. The three most important things when it comes to our lightweight trellis frames. Designed to deliver razor-sharp handling and stability, just the right amount of flex ensures an exhilarating ride on the SM 700, each and every time. Made from high-grade chromium-molybdenum steel to be super strong, precisely calculated torsional rigidity and longitudinal flex means riders of all abilities have the confidence to push harder, and ride further. They're robot welded too, to ensure accuracy and the very best quality, always. Oh, and they weigh just 18.5 lb (8.4kg).

SUBCHASIS TRASERO DE POLIAMIDA

We want everyone to get the most out of each ride, which is why the self-supporting rear subframe on the GASGAS SM 700 houses a 3.6-gallon (13.5-liter) fuel tank. Molded from a single piece of high strength polyamide and weighing just 11.4 lb (5.2 kg), it's super tough and placed to keep weight as low as possible for best handling. Want to add either a dedicated mounting frame or passenger handles? No problem, we already thought of that!

BASCULANTE

No welding, just a super-strong, great looking, die-cast swingarm, like on all our bikes! Made from a single piece of aluminum and weighing in at only 8.5 lb (3.9 kg), the GASGAS SM 700 swingarm flexes perfectly to help improve both handling and power delivery. A WP rear shock connects perfectly to ensure progressive rear-end damping.

HORQUILLA WP

AMORTIGUADOR WP

Con todas las posibilidades de ajuste que necesites para encontrar la configuración perfecta de la suspensión, el amortiguador WP APEX permite el ajuste de la compresión a alta y baja velocidad, además de poder afinar los ajustes de la extensión. Para mayor comodidad, los 240 mm de recorrido de la rueda trasera garantizan que no haya baches ni saltos demasiado grandes para la SM 700.

PLETINAS DE DIRECCIÓN

Sabemos que poder leer bien el terreno a través del manillar de una moto es muy importante, y las pletinas de dirección de la SM 700 están diseñadas para ello. Mecanizadas mediante control numérico y diseñadas para ofrecer la cantidad justa de flexión, las sensaciones que recibe el piloto del tren delantero son inmejorables. Junto con unas bridas de manillar de montaje elástico para reducir las vibraciones, el confort es excepcional y garantizado.

RUEDAS Y NEUMÁTICOS

Black wheels! There was no other choice when it came to finishing the SM 700. Providing a race bike look as standard, they're not only super cool looking, they're super lightweight as well and playing an important role in ensuring the very best handling. The 17" wheels are fitted with Continental ContiAttack SM EVO tires for incredible grip, even at the most extreme lean angles.

FRENOS

There's serious stopping power in the four-piston, CNC-machined Brembo front brake caliper, which grab hold of the 320mm floating front disc fitted to the SM 700. At the back, a smaller caliper and a 240mm disc only adds to the bike's stopping power. Both brakes are complete with Bosch ABS systems for piece of mind and maximum performance.

ASIENTO

The black seat of our SM 700 is one of its most important parts in terms of looks, comfort, and functionality. This padded seat features a model-specific, ergonomic design for an active supermoto riding style. Highly functional, but also a real aesthetic enhancement since it features a non-slip cover, and is shaped to give optimal grip when accelerating. What's more? It is waterproof and hard-wearing.

MOTOR

MONOCILÍNDRICO DE GRAN CILINDRADA

Fully loaded with everything that's needed to ensure impressive big-bore performance, the motor in our SM 700 is the most powerful in its class! With a compact cylinder head design that features a double spark plug for increased motor smoothness, and lower emissions, our motors also ensure long service intervals. Fitted with PASC slipper clutches for a little extra cornering fun, and lightweight 6-speed gearboxes, the stainless-steel exhaust system allows our 700 to breathe freely, while delivering low sound, low emissions, and maximum power output.

POTENCIA

We like our 692.7cc motor fully loaded. Fully loaded with everything that's needed to ensure impressive big-bore performance, and long service intervals. There's plenty of power for serious on-road and off-road riding. Tipping the scales at 95.6 lb (43.4 kg) including the electric start, throttle body, clutch, and coolant lines, weight isn't an issue when it comes to our single-cylinder, single overhead cam power producer!

EFICIENCIA

La fiabilidad es muy importante para nosotros, por ello nuestros motores incorporan un sistema de evacuación activa del cárter, con lubricación forzada del motor, que a su vez reduce la fricción del aceite y las pérdidas ocasionadas por la bomba. CULATA

Admisión, compresión, explosión y escape... ¿no es eso lo que dicen que ocurre dentro de un cilindro de cuatro tiempos? Para que todo esto tenga lugar, y para garantizar que también se generen toneladas de potencia utilizable, la vanguardista culata de cuatro válvulas que monta la SM 700 cuenta con dos bujías para garantizar una entrega de potencia suave. El árbol de levas en cabeza del motor actúa directamente sobre las válvulas de admisión de 42 mm mediante empujadores, mientras que las válvulas de escape de 34 mm se accionan mediante un balancín, lo que proporciona una sincronización más precisa de las mismas a regímenes más altos.

CIGÜEÑAL, BIELA Y PISTÓN

Las piezas que trabajan en el corazón del motor y que garantizan la fiabilidad y el rendimiento. Y, lo más importante, esos largos intervalos de mantenimiento. El cigüeñal tiene una carrera de 80 mm y actúa sobre un rodamiento de rodillos cilíndricos para garantizar unos largos intervalos de mantenimiento. Y para mantener la suavidad, hay un segundo eje de balance que reduce la inercia, disminuyendo las vibraciones del motor. Por último, para mantener la fiabilidad, incluso en el límite de las 8000 rpm, el motor de 700 cc cuenta con una combinación de alta fuerza y resistencia al desgaste de una biela con cojinete deslizante, un pistón de aleación de aluminio y silicio de 105 mm y un bulón de pistón con revestimiento tipo diamante (DLC).

EMBRAGUE ANTIRREBOTES

¡Que levante la mano quien quiera entrar y salir más rápido de las curvas! Pues entonces ha sido una buena idea que hayamos equipado a la SM 700 con un embrague PASC Adler. El embrague antirrebotes maximiza el agarre de la rueda trasera al acelerar con fuerza a la salida de las curvas, y también evita la inestabilidad de la misma al frenar con fuerza y reducir de marcha, asegurando que la moto esté perfectamente equilibrada al entrar en las curvas. Su exclusivo diseño también reduce las vibraciones no deseadas y ayuda al tacto en la maneta de embrague. También tenemos el nuevo mando de embrague hidráulico Braktec. Desarrollado para garantizar un funcionamiento más positivo del Quickshifter, cambiar de marcha y derrapar resulta mucho más fácil en 2024.

With switchable ride modes the power characteristics and traction control can be changed on the fly while lean-angle sensitive traction control manages rear wheel grip in all riding conditions. Or, for those that want full power at all times, traction control can be turned off altogether! And, a Quickshifter ensures super smooth and efficient up and down shifting without the need to use the clutch.

Quickshift +

Doing exactly what its name suggests, the Quickshifter ensures super smooth and efficient up and down shifting without the need to use the clutch. Leaving you free to shift whenever needed, two sensors - one to detect movement of the shift lever rod and a second that detects gear engagement - take care of the clever stuff, meaning no matter how hard you're accelerating, you can always hook the next gear. When it comes to downshifting, the system matches the engine speed to the speed of the lower gear for seamless downshifting.

INTERRUPTOR DE CAMBIO DE MAPA

Two ride modes for double the fun. Even when on the move you can switch from one ride mode to the other, adjusting the power delivery whenever you need to. Mode 1 - street mode - gives a crisp throttle response together with cornering sensitive traction control. We like to think of it as the controlled street riding performance mode! Mode 2 is the supermoto mode on the SM 700 - a more specialized 'get the job done better' mode. On the SM 700, it provides a smooth throttle response with Supermoto traction control, which allows for Supermoto-style wheel drifting and the front wheel to lift. Optional Supermoto ABS is available with the purchase of a dongle to remove rear wheel ABS for improved rear wheel feedback in off-road conditions and for Supermoto slides on the tarmac.

Prefer riding with an aggressive throttle response? That's just what the Supermoto Ride Mode was designed for! Putting all the power in your right hand with just a touch of traction control stepping in if things get a little wild, short circuit racing has never been so much fun.

CORNERING TRACTION CONTROL

Lighting up the rear wheel exiting turns is so much fun. But on a day-to-day basis, it's not always what you want. That's why the lean-angle sensitive traction control system monitors rear wheel speed and reacts immediately (within milliseconds!) if the rear wheel's turning faster than the bike's overall speed. Jumping in to momentarily reduce the engine output, a smooth and barely noticeable reduction in power prevents any unwanted rear wheel sliding. Once things have settled down, full power is restored. For riders looking for total control of their motorcycle, traction control can also be completely switched off.

RIDE-BY-WIRE

Smart technology that results in the perfect power delivery. With a 50mm throttle body, the Keihin electronic fuel injection system does away with the need for a traditional throttle cable! Controlling the throttle valve electronically, the Engine Management System (EMS) continuously compares engine parameters with data from sensors to adjust the throttle valve accordingly, resulting in perfect power delivery and throttle response. Additionally, it also provides a super impressive throttle response, specifically from slower speeds.
