Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia raced to a seventh-place finish in Round 8 of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Washougal on Saturday, as teammate Ryder DiFranceso was once again typically fast on his way to 10th overall in the 250MX division. BAMBAM goes 7-7 for seventh overall in 450MX Class Qualifying fifth and P8 finish in Moto 2 highlight Ryder D’s weekend Team lines up with a special Military Appreciation livery Barcia clocked the 10th fastest qualifying time onboard his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition at the picturesque Pacific Northwest facility, before charging to a solid seventh place finish in Moto 1 on what were hard-pack and notoriously slick Washougal conditions. Another P7 ride in Moto 2 demonstrated a measured performance for BAMBAM at the eighth round, with seventh overall continuing his steady build throughout the latter stages of his outdoor campaign this season. Justin Barcia: "I qualified in the top 10 today at Washougal and was happy with that, as it gave me a better gate pick, but made a bit of a rookie move off the start because I thought the traction would be less, and I ended up with the front-end pretty high which put me toward the back! Charged through for P7 in that one, then second moto, I got a better start, but a couple of mistakes and the restart had me in seventh for that one, too. All in all, we're out of these first couple races healthy, so we'll regroup now and come out swinging for the last three." DiFrancesco and his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition qualified fifth quickest, before charging into P2 at the start of Moto 1. After taking over the lead on lap two, Ryder D held firm at the front of the field until a collision with another rider on the third lap sent him down the race order. After remounting, the 20-year-old managed to race forward and salvage an 11th-place finish, before a P8 result in Moto 2 earned him 10th overall for the weekend. As a result, DiFrancesco moves to 13th in the 250MX standings with three rounds remaining. Ryder DiFrancesco: “Washougal was good, qualifying was strong, and I always enjoy coming here. I had a mishap in Moto 1, getting landed on while leading, which wasn't ideal, but did what we could to recover. Second moto was better, I got a good start and had some pace early, but I felt like I could've done some things differently with line choice and racecraft to keep up there, and flow the track a little better. In just his third race back from injury, Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia charged to a top-five result in Round 7 of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Spring Creek, rewarded through consistency with fifth overall in 450MX. Consistency lands BAMBAM P5 result overall in Millville! Fourth in 250MX qualifying further signals Ryder D's potential Speed displayed by both riders throughout Round 7 Equipped with his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition, BAMBAM charged to an eighth-place score in Millville's opening premier class moto, before improving to P7 in Moto 2 amidst rough, hard-pack conditions. That combination of results at the Spring Creek National earned the number 51 fifth overall for the weekend, which was a convincing effort given the depth of the 450MX class in 2025. Justin Barcia: "Millville was good! Practice wasn't great, though, since I've been back, we've been using that session to just try and get myself comfy, and then each moto today we got more and more comfortable. Second moto was solid, we charged hard in both races and ended up getting fifth overall. I didn't expect a top-five just yet, but we will take it! We're making a lot of progress, the whole crew is doing a great job, and I'm excited to keep building into Washouga. After the break, I think we'll take an even bigger step forward." GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition-mounted DiFrancesco impressed with the fourth-fastest time in 250MX qualifying, continuing his single-lap form shown from the previous round at RedBud. Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Ryder DiFrancesco posted a breakout ride in the sixth round of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at RedBud on Saturday, qualifying fastest in 250MX before posting a sixth-place result overall. In 450MX, teammate Justin Barcia impressed with a solid seventh position in only his second round back from injury. Ryder D qualifies P1 overall in 250MX class at RedBud! Both teammates rank well inside top 10 overall Unique 4th of July liveries to celebrate Independence Day! DiFrancesco was fast from the outset onboard his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition in Michigan, setting the fastest time in the opening qualifying session this morning. The Californian would reinforce that form with an even quicker 2:08:014 lap-time in Q2, which was half a second faster than P2 entering the afternoon's motos. A tough start in Moto 1 saw the 20-year-old outside the top 20 on the opening lap, with a decisive come-from-behind ride resulting in a hard-fought P12 by race's end. A better start in Moto 2 had DiFrancesco further up the field running as high as P4, before a fall dropped him down the order. Another charge ensued, this time resulting in a sixth-place finish and P6 overall for the weekend. Ryder DiFrancesco: “RedBud was great! Qualified P1 for the first time ever, which felt really good, and I was able to back it up in the second session. Not a great start in Moto 1, and I had to push my way through, which I think 12th was our best in that one. Moto 2, I ended up getting into fourth pretty fast, then I went down, so had to charge forward again. Overall, a good day, and the next couple of tracks are good for me, so I'm excited!" In 450MX, Barcia raced to eighth place in Moto 1 equipped with his RED-hot GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition, before ninth in Moto 2 saw the New York native claim P7 overall in just his second round back from a lengthy stint on the sidelines. Satisfied with his early progression, BAMBAM is looking ahead to Spring Creek next weekend. Justin Barcia: "All around, today was a good day! I qualified a little better than last week, and the motos went better than last week as well. First moto, had a tip-over that cost me some time, so that was a bummer. The second moto was challenging on a brutal track, but overall we finished P7, and I think if we keep trending in this direction, then we will be closer toward the front soon. Happy with the day – I always want more – but I'm satisfied with our improvement, and the bike was working really good. I'm looking forward to Spring Creek now!"
