Features & Benefits

STYLE

FOR YOUNGSTERS

Designed for taller kids aged three to five years old, the MC-E 2.12 is the next bike up from the MC-E 2. It's perfectly sized to suit children between 90 and 130 cm tall, and thanks to its adjustable seat height, they can keep riding the same bike for a little longer as they grow. A child-specific bar bend and thin profile ODI grips make sure that riding the MC-E 2.12 is really comfortable, too.

BODYWORK

All red from front to back, because after all, the MC-E 2.12 is a GASGAS dirt bike! The bold graphics are applied using an in-mold process, which means they can't peel off or fade, while a red seat completes the distinctive look.

HANDLEBARS & GRIPS

Designed with kids in mind, the handlebars are both light and strong. They have a modern bend, aren't too wide, and there's a reduced diameter at the ends where the slimmer profile ODI lock-on grips are fitted. All these features combine to allow youngsters to ride with a confidence inspiring grip and in complete control of the MC-E 2.12.

ENTRY TO MX

With a throttle, brakes, and chunky offroad tires, the MC-E 2.12 is where riding dirt bikes begins! A choice of three ride modes lets kids ease into things gradually too - especially with the lowest setting engaged - as the top speed is restricted to be the same as an adult's walking pace. And let's not forget the WP suspension that soaks up every bump for a smooth ride, every ride.

Features & Benefits

HANDLING

SAFETY

Safety was paramount when we designed the MC-E 2.12. If the bike tips over at any speed, a rollover sensor cuts power to the rear wheel immediately. Then there are three selectable ride modes that offer different top speeds, so kids can progress at their own pace. There's also a lanyard to put around their left wrist, so if their hand comes off the bars, the power shuts off instantly.

SEAT HEIGHT

Thanks to its adjustable ergonomics, the MC-E 2.12 can grow alongside your kid. In just a matter of minutes you can raise the seat height from 536 mm to 566 mm by repositioning the rear shock and dropping the WP forks through the triple clamps. Pretty cool, right?

FRAME

Low in weight so that the MC-E 2.12 is a blast to ride for hours and hours, the aluminum frame is both strong and durable. Just like the reinforced fiberglass subframe!

CHASSIS

It's built to last! Our engineers know that some kids will ride all day long, which is why they designed the chassis to be strong while keeping overall weight as low as possible. High quality forged aluminum is used for many components including the top triple clamp, handlebar mounts, and footpeg hangers. And just like the bigger GASGAS dirt bikes, the swingarm is made from die-cast aluminum for reduced rigidity.

MOTOR

MOTOR

ELECTRIC MOTOR

The MC-E 2.12 is powered by a HUB Motor that's built right into the rear wheel, which means no chain, no sprockets, and ensures a safe ride for kids. Plus, no chain or sprockets means fewer parts to replace and lower running costs. It's also pretty silent, definitely tough, maintenance-free, and produces a peak power output of 1.8 kW. Plus, with a single drive mode and no gearbox to worry about, the MC-E 2.12 is certainly a fun way for youngsters to get into riding dirt bikes.

SMART LED

Built for convenience, the multi-function display lets parents scroll through three pre-set ride modes and choose the one that suits their kid best. Color-coded LEDs make it easy to see what's selected - blue for walking speed, white for medium power, and green for a maximum speed of 33 km/h. Battery level is clearly displayed, too, so you'll always know how much power is left before it's time to recharge.

BATTERY

The compact 40-B330X battery powering the MC-E 2.12 is lightweight, quick to charge, and simple to swap. Once plugged in to charge, you'll get to 80% in around 35 minutes, with a full battery restored in just an hour. The Li-Ion battery uses the same style connector as found on modern power tools too. So with a few fully charged spares, kids can ride non-stop if they wish.

CHARGER

The QC500 charger supplies up to 500 watts and plugs into any standard 110 or 230-volt outlet. The battery is super easy to remove and refit, and it can reach an 80% charge in just 35 minutes with a full charge taking around an hour. Designed for plug-and-play convenience, the MC-E 2.12 uses the same type of battery found in most modern power tools, so swapping in a fully charged spare when the original runs low keeps the fun going all day long.

PARTS

PARTS

WEIGHT

One thing that will make the MC-E 2.12 a hit with both kids and parents is how lightweight it is. Tipping the scales at just 29kg, it can be easily picked up and loaded into a car for transport, as well as being a dream to ride because of its low center of gravity. It's also lighter than similarly sized bikes with internal combustion engines, too.

BRAKES

Hydraulic brakes front and rear are paired with 140 mm discs to deliver confidence-inspiring stopping power. The levers for both are mounted on the handlebars - just like a bicycle - so kids will feel comfortable straight away. Plus, with adjustable reach, it's easy to get them set up just right.

WHEELS

The super-cool, five-spoke aluminum wheels are low in weight and pretty much maintenance-free. They're also really strong, and both the 12" front and 10" rear wheel are wrapped in grippy KENDA Trackmaster tires. Make no mistake, this combination gives young riders all the grip they need to ride with complete confidence.

WP SUSPENSION

Plush WP suspension at the front and rear keeps youngsters comfy and in control. Up front, there's 90 mm of travel, while the rear shock provides 70mm and offers preload adjustment to fine-tune things if needed.
