GASGAS is excited to announce the expansion of its bicycle crew with both Sweden’s Simon Carlsson and France’s Alexandre Fayolle joining the family. Simon and Alex will get on the gas alongside the rest of our bicycle guys Johannes Fischbach, Alex Marin and Adrian Guggemos.
This year is shaping up to be an epic one for the bicycle division of GASGAS, with even more riders hitting the trails and raising the stoke levels. An exciting duo to watch, both Simon and Alex have distinct and cool riding styles, along with fun and ‘made for outdoors’ personalities, that really match up with what’s important to GASGAS.
Born and raised in Sweden, Simon is a pure-bred mountain biker and lover of all things two wheels and outdoors. He doesn’t like to sit still and it’s hard to pin him down to any one place! That’s the type of spirit we love to see at GASGAS, so we can be sure our bikes will be put through their paces, whatever the weather and wherever the location.
Alex Fayolle is one fast Frenchie. He’s got a super smooth riding style that looks annoyingly effortless. With a racing background in the UCI Downhill MTB World Cup, he’s tasted success from the top step of the podium before recently switching to eMTB two years ago. The change of discipline has been good for Alex, and he reckons he’s now more in love with riding his bike than ever before.
We can’t wait to get our GASGAS bicycle squad together for a meet up and a proper riding session. You can be sure it’ll be a wild one and just the start of many awesome things to come.
Simon Carlsson: “I’m really looking forward to riding GASGAS. The bike feels like a dream come true to ride. Last year was my first full season of riding only an eMTB and I really enjoyed it and felt like I learned a lot. Already there is a good vibe with GASGAS, so I can’t wait to get on the road with the team and start this new season. It’s going to be a fun year!”
Alex Fayolle: “It’s an amazing opportunity for me to join GASGAS this year. I'm really excited to work with motivated and professional people to improve my experience on the bike. This will be my third year on an eMTB. I want to use that experience and help to push GASGAS forward. Together with the GASGAS team we can do good things. There’s a lot of things planned in the pipeline, I’m excited to get started.”
