GRAPHICS

All-new graphics spice things up for 2025 with the GASGAS logo emblazoned in black rather than white for a fresh twist. Still red, still durable, and still eye-catching, the distinctive design is applied using IML technology. This means they're applied within the bodywork so your GASGAS will stay looking super fresh for a long, long time, even if you ride in gnarly conditions week after week.

BODYWORK

All red, front to back! Incredibly ergonomic with large contact surfaces to help you grip the bike with your legs, the smooth profile bodywork encourages riders to effortlessly move around on the bike and ride with a perfect technique. There's also a super grippy seat cover, in red of course, to keep you sat exactly where you need to be when you get on the gas!

HANDLEBARS

Get on the gas and hold on tight! Not too tight though as nobody likes arm pump... But to make sure you stay comfortable, Neken handlebars are clamped into redesigned bar mounts (which are less resistant to twisting if you should hit the deck), with lock-on style, medium compound ODI grips fitted to create a comfy set-up to suit most riders.

AIRBOX

Less time working on bikes means more time riding bikes, which is precisely why you'll love the straightforward, no tools and no-nonsense filter mounting system. With a stronger one-piece design for the air intake in 2025, maximum airflow is guaranteed, and you know what that means... maximum power! Like before, accessing the air filter to inspect or replace it couldn't be easier. Simply pop the left side panel off and you'll be inside the airbox in no time.

FUEL TANK

Sitting neatly inside the vibrant red bodywork is the transparent fuel tank. And for 2025 a beefier rubber tank support underneath helps hold it firmly in place while protecting the frame from wear. With an integrated fuel pump inside the tank allowing for it to be emptied further, extended ride times aren't a problem for this GASGAS!

FOOTPEGS

Bigger is better when it comes to footpegs. That's precisely why they not only have a larger surface area for maximum grip, but we've also made them less likely to catch on the edges of deep ruts, which mean no loss to forward momentum. The pegs are also light and prevent mud from building up. So, no matter how gnarly the track gets, you'll stay in complete control.

HANDLING

HANDLING

FRAME

A new generation bike is nothing without a new frame, right? Taking the best traits from the old frame, which if you didn't know combined razor-sharp cornering with confidence-inspiring straight line stability, our engineering wizards have made it even better! They've improved the anti-squat behavior for maximum traction when exiting corners. Throughout the frame, the wall thickness has been revised in certain areas to improve rider feedback and energy absorption. The frame is finished with a red powder coating and grippy guards to prevent wear, which provide a little extra grip for your boots too.

SUBFRAME

The all-aluminium subframe is light, strong, and works as one with the new frame by helping to centralizing mass and contributing massively to the bike's outstanding handling characteristics.

TRIPLE CLAMPS

Forged aluminum triple clamps offer just the right amount of calculated flex thanks to a more forgiving steering stem. The triple clamps align the fork tubes perfectly for a smooth action, which improves front wheel feedback and leads to predictable handling on any track and any terrain. The adjustable bar mounts with the slightly larger contact area against the handlebars reduce the chance of the bars twisting. A glass bead blasted finish means the triple clamps always look as good as new.

WP FORKS

Every GASGAS cross country bike features 48mm WP XACT closed cartridge forks as they're just so damn good. Easily adjustable by hand on the outside, on the inside the latest technology prevents the oil from foaming for consistent performance, bump after bump. Progressive fork action, thanks to the springs and pressurized oil chamber, is guaranteed while a hydrostop helps you maintain forward momentum by taking the sting out of heavy landings.

WP SHOCK

With no less than 300mm of travel, the WP XACT rear shock soaks up the biggest of bumps with ease. For 2025, the performance of the shock is taken up a notch thanks to the new, lower friction seals in the linkage and a smaller diameter linkage bolt, to reduce a little weight. Both revisions were put to the test in MXGP, so you know they'll make a difference. Because of the new frame, the shock's settings have been revised to deliver the best damping straight from the showroom floor. However, creating a customized set-up remains super simple as adjustments can still be made quickly by hand.

SWINGARM

Cast from one piece of aluminum, the swingarm on this GASGAS certainly looks the business! A new, stronger chain slider improves durability and keeps the chain running smoother for longer. At the rear of the swingarm you'll find a chain guide with a rounded profile to help it glide over the ground as you lay the bike over through deeply rutted turns. Finally, clear chain adjustment markings ensure quick and easy maintenance.

MOTOR

MOTOR

MOTOR

Light, compact, powerful, and perfectly positioned inside the frame to centralize mass, the EX 250F motor has it all going on! With plenty of torque down low to get you out of tight corners quickly, and a 14,000rpm limit for those who like to hang onto every gear, this versatile motor really is quite impressive.

CYLINDER HEAD

There's a lot packed into this DOHC cylinder head! Designed to simply deliver the best performance possible, larger titanium exhaust valves, Diamond-like Carbon coated finger followers, and a better sealing head gasket means you can twist the throttle to your heart's content! This bike revs freely up to its 14,000rpm limit and produces some seriously strong power along the way.

CYLINDER & PISTON

Performing an important role in delivering the lively performance that makes the EX 250F so much fun to ride, both the cylinder and forged bridged-box-type CP piston are professionally engineered from high strength aluminum. The larger 81mm bore helps bump up the compression to 14.5:1 and you know what that means - more torque and more peak power!

TRANSMISSION

Made by PANKL Racing Systems, the transmission has a shift shaft and a low-friction coating on the internal shifting fork for smooth gear changes, even when upshifting when the motor's under heavy load. Still light and durable, it's never been easier to flick through the 6-speed transmission on the EX 250F. Also, a clever lever design helps prevent dirt build-up, especially when the ruts get deep and the dirt gets sticky!

CRANKSHAFT

Up and down, round and round... life's tough being a 250F crankshaft! So it's a good job that the spinning heart of the EX 250F motor is super durable with service intervals of 90 hours. Not only designed for maximum performance, but the crankshaft is positioned to help centralize oscillating masses, which creates a super agile and lightweight feel to the bike while riding.

CRANKCASE

The protective housing keeps all internal components safe and secure! Redesigned to centralize all internal parts, the crankcases are thin yet strong and lightweight thanks to being made using a high-pressure casting process.

DIAPHRAGM STEEL (DS) CLUTCH

The EX 250F is equipped with a Diaphragm Steel (DS) clutch, which is robust, super reliable, and contributes to the compact engine design. Inside the clutch basket, which is CNC machined from a single piece of steel for incredible longevity, is the clutch pack that features a single diaphragm steel pressure plate instead of traditional coil springs.

HYDRAULIC BRAKES

Fast is fun but slowing down is essential, which is why all GASGAS dirt bikes are fitted with high quality BRAKTEC calipers and controls. Speaking of controls, the rear brake pedal is now considerably stronger to prevent it from getting bent out of shape in a crash or catching the ground when you're railing through a deep rut. When you combine those BRAKTEC calipers with GASGAS specific brake disks, 260mm up front and 220mm at the rear, the end result is amazing braking performance. This all means that all riders can stay on the gas longer and brake later into corners. And we all know what that leads to... faster lap times!

HYDRAULIC CLUTCH

No need for adjustment and offering a near maintenance-free operation, the best thing about the Braktec hydraulic clutch is that it provides consistent action. With free-play at the redesigned lever automatically adjusted, the biting point and function of the clutch remain constant no matter whether the motor is started from cold or used during the heat of a battle.

RADIATORS

Keeping the motor cool are a set of strong aluminum radiators, which channel the air through them in the most effective way possible. A large centre tube within the frame is used to reduce the number of hoses needed and ensures a consistent flow of coolant around the engine - just what you need when you're in the heat of a battle!

WHEELS

Built to take a beating, our wheels are ready to play rough. No matter how heavy the landing or how rough the track is, the silver, CNC machined hubs, lightweight spokes, and high-strength EXCEL rims deliver maximum strength for complete peace of mind.

TIRES

Up front you'll find a 80/100-21" motocross spec Dunlop MX33 front tire with a 110/100-18" Dunlop AT81 cross country tire at the rear. Why do we mix up tires from two disciplines? Well, this is a proven combo that offers both performance and durability, which means you can be confident in the corners and benefit from how long-lasting they are, too.

ENGINE MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (EMS)

Small, light, and fast at processing data - just what you need from an engine management system! The Keihin component is the best in the business and engages each gear's engine map, includes a rollover sensor that cuts the ignition during big crashes, and feeds information to the hour meter. Plus, if you install a Map Select Switch (available from your local GASGAS dealer as a Technical Accessory), it instantly synchronizes for plug and play simplicity and gives your bike traction control, quickshift and two engine maps for customised power.

MAP SELECT SWITCH

Unlock all the potential of your GASGAS dirt bike with the optional Map Select Switch. Designed for maximum control, it features two purpose-built maps, along with traction control, launch control and a quickshifter. Fine-tune your power delivery for various terrain, and experience seamless upshifts from second gear upwards. A must-have GASGAS Technical Accessory for everybody wanting to go full gas.

THROTTLE BODY

The EX 250F uses a 44mm Keihin throttle body with an injector positioned to ensure the most efficient flow of fuel mixture into the combustion chamber. But what's most important to all riders is the fact that the direct cable mounting system ensures an immediate throttle response.

CONNECTIVITY UNIT OFFROAD (CUO) & GPS SENSOR

For our 2025 4-stroke cross country models, GASGAS is stoked to put engine tuning into the rider's hands. All you need to do is download our new GASGAS+ app, pair your device with the Connectivity Unit Offroad (CUO) and the GPS sensor that you can buy as a Technical Accessory, then with a few quick taps, you can access all the app’s features. Within the GASGAS+ app there are three main sections – ENGINE, SUSPENSION, and RIDER. The ENGINE feature allows you to customize and control the power delivery based on your style or the track conditions while the SUSPENSION feature offers recommended settings for different types of circuits. Multiple set-ups, for both the engine and suspension can also be saved for future reference. Finally, the RIDER feature is where your lap times are recorded along with the ability to analyze everything about how your bike is running.

ELECTRIC STARTER

The best invention since the wheel! With an electric starter fitted, this GASGAS starts super easily every single time you hit that start button. And to simplify things further and save space on the bars, the engine stop button is located in the same housing as the start button. Using a Li-Ion battery, which weighs approx. 1kg less than a conventional lead battery, you get the convenience of electric starting while the overall bike weight is kept to a minimum. It's a win, win for everyone!
