Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia equaled his season-high 450MX result of fifth place in Round 11 of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship at Budds Creek, with 250MX teammate Ryder DiFrancesco racing to P9 as the team signed off on what has been a successful outdoor campaign. BAMBAM takes 8-5 scores for fifth overall in 450MX Class Ninth overall a solid finish for Ryder D in 250MX SMX Finals series next up through September! Barcia recorded the seventh-fastest time onboard his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition in qualifying at the flowing Budds Creek layout, before charging to an eighth-place finish during Moto 1. Fifth position in Moto 2 saw BAMBAM score P5 overall, which drew a successful end to his Pro Motocross series after returning from injury at the fifth round in Southwick. Two fifth-place overall results marked the season-high finishes for the number 51, as he enters the SMX post-season ranked ninth overall. Justin Barcia: "I qualified P7 this morning at Budds Creek, which was pretty good, and that was a solid way to start the day. First moto, I struggled a little bit in finding a flow – I ended up eighth, which I wasn’t too thrilled about. The second race, I got off to a good start and felt comfortable straight away, so that was a cool feeling to be up front and running the pace, knowing I still have what it takes. A top-five finish is a solid way to end the season, and now we’ll come out swinging for SMX.” DiFrancesco on his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition qualified eighth fastest, before racing to a 10-8 scorecard for ninth overall, and securing 10th in the 250MX point-standings after a solid season of competition. The 20-year-old showed significant progress throughout the 11-round series, and will enter SMX with a wave of momentum on his side. Ryder DiFrancesco: “Budds Creek was good! I qualified well after feeling comfortable from the get-go, and then Moto 1, I shuffled around the eighth to 10th range, which I felt was good. My starts weren’t the greatest today, but I found my way inside the top 10 in both races, and overall, I’m happy to finish up outdoors with this result.” Results 450MX Class – Budds Creek National 1. A pair of eighth-place results for Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia (450MX) and Ryder DiFrancesco (250MX) in Round 10 of the 2025 Pro Motocross Championship marked a consistent outing for the teammates at Unadilla this weekend. Ryder D finishes with 11-8 scores for eighth overall in 250MX BAMBAM also P8 overall at home round of the outdoor season! One round remains for Pro Motocross in 2025 Equipped with his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition, New York native Barcia recorded the 13th-fastest time in qualifying at Unadilla, before fighting hard all race long in Moto 1 for a hard-fought P9 finish. Improving to eighth in Moto 2, Barcia took eighth overall and has now climbed to 10th in the 450MX standings. Justin Barcia: "Unadilla was gnarly! It was a wild day. We made a lot of positive adjustments, and I felt better each time I went on the track. The first moto was super tricky, because the track was one of the more gnarly Unadillas that I have raced – it was very busy out there and I didn't get the greatest of starts today as I wasn't on the paddle tire. I ate a lot of roost, but all-in-all we charged hard, made improvements, and I am extremely excited for Budds Creek after the changes we made this weekend." DiFrancesco powered his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition to 11th in 250MX qualifying, before taking a well-earned 11th-place finish in Moto 1. Race two displayed his front-running speed once more, posting a P8 result for eighth overall. With his Unadilla result, Ryder D moves to 11th overall in the 250MX series with one round left to run in 2025. Ryder DiFrancesco: “This round was another step in the right direction. My qualifying speed was good, and I had two good starts for the motos, so I'm happy to be getting off the gate better and better. I had two solid races today, the first moto I had a lot of ground to make up, which we did, and then second moto I was in a fight with a couple of riders for the whole race inside the top 10. We're getting better, and I'm excited to have a bit of momentum building on my side!" Next Race: August 23 – Mechanicsville, Maryland Results 450MX Class – Unadilla National 1. Rockstar Energy GASGAS Factory Racing’s Justin Barcia raced to a solid ninth-place finish in Round 9 of the 2025 AMA Pro Motocross Championship at Ironman Raceway this weekend, finishing inside the top 10 at the conclusion of both 450MX motos. BAMBAM finishes 8-9 for ninth overall in 450MX Class Front-running speed displayed by Ryder D in 250MX again Two rounds remain in Pro Motocross 2025! Barcia recorded the 13th fastest time with his GASGAS MC 450F Factory Edition in qualifying at the Crawfordsville venue, before charging forward to an eighth-place finish during Moto 1 in what were ultra-technical track conditions. Ninth position in Moto 2 saw BAMBAM score P9 overall in Indiana, with two Pro Motocross rounds remaining to continue building form before the commencement of the SuperMotocross World Championship (SMX) post-season starting in September. Justin Barcia: "It was a wild day in Ironman, and a hot one! The track was tough and pretty slippery in the morning with its hard-packed base, so we made some changes after practice going into the first moto. Unfortunately in Moto 1, someone hit the gate next to me, and that caused a chain reaction as I went early as well. That put me pretty much last, so we charged back to the top 10 in that one, which was okay. Second race, got a good start, but was shuffled around a bit on lap one, and then made one big mistake and lost a lot of positions. I fought back to the top 10 again, so all in all, some good progress was made today – we'll never stop fighting!" DiFrancesco on his GASGAS MC 250F Factory Edition qualified ninth fastest before the 20-year-old raced to a 17-15 scorecard, highlighted by running in P4 during the opening stages of the second race and displaying speed to factor among the class front-runners yet again. Like Barcia, Ryder D is ranked 13th in the championship standings. Ryder DiFrancesco: “Qualifying was good at Ironman, then Moto 1, I was right there around the top 10, but made some mistakes, which sent me backward. I made a better start in race two and was up there in fourth for five or six laps, and then again just went backwards later in the moto. I need to fix some things before we head to Unadilla and Budds Creek, so we will keep trying hard and working to move forward."
